Boyd, author of books including Restless and A Good Man in Africa was commissioned by the Ian Fleming estate to write a new Bond book in April last year and is setting it in 1969. The actor Dominic West, best known for his role As Detective Jimmy McNulty in The Wire series is to be the voice of the Solo audiobook.
